H&L are working with the East Dorset Heritage Trust (EDHT) and a range
of partners including local authority conservation officers from across Dorset to develop this new project. Following a feasibility
study Martin Cooke has undertaken further investigation and consultation with an HLF Your Heritage bid submitted
in September 2008.
Despite being complemented on the quality of the research the Your Heritage grant request was
unfortuantly unsuccessful. EDHT are now considering whether to re-apply to HLF or consider other funding options.
